Few homes on the Island have views like Wolfe Cottage - with ocean views from the living room, patio, primary suite, and master patio you can watch the Atlantic Ocean, Gould's Inlet, and Sea Island beyond. Wolfe Cottage is an elegant 4-bedroom beach house with gorgeous ocean views, a relaxing private pool, billiards room, and plenty of space for you and your family to relax and enjoy each other on your trip to St. Simons. \[Special Discounts\] Enter these dates to see discounted rates: March 22-29, 2026 (up to 7 nights) April 3-8, 2026 (up to 5 nights) June 9-13, 2026 (up to 4 nights) June 27-July 4, 2026 (up to 7 nights) July 18-25, 2026 (up to 7 nights) THE SPACE The house has an open floor plan with plenty of spaces to share or spread out - starting your day with coffee on the master patio and enjoying the ocean views. Then after a morning walk on the beach and a lunch on the covered patio directly off the chef's kitchen, enjoy the pool in the afternoon and the billiards room in the evening. We have a large family room and 3 patios to choose from for evening relaxing and conversation. Bedrooms are configured as follows: Primary Suite: King bed, ocean views, private patio with it's own ocean views, HDTV, and a master bathroom en suite with his & hers vanities and a separate garden tub and shower on the top floor. Queen Room 1: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the main floor. Queen Room 2: Queen bed, ocean views, HDTV, and attached bathroom on the top floor. Twin Room: 2 twin beds, attached bathroom on the top floor. There is also a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2 in the living room. The home also features an elevator that serves all levels. There is plenty of parking including 2-car garage. The elevator is accessible from garage level. Note, the pool can be heated for an additional fuel fee of $75/day - just let us know if you'd like the pool heated. If you enjoy the finer features of an upscale home, and are looking for beach views, easy beach access, and a pool, you've found it - Wolfe Cottage. Why Stay on East Beach: The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum. Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation. Pets: This home is dog friendly for dogs 25lbs or less with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host puppies < 1 year old or breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure. Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool! Elevator: This property offers an elevator. As a residential elevator it is not guaranteed to be ADA compliant. No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general. The property is dog friendly, small dogs only, which was a huge bonus. Steps away from the beach, which was dog friendly. House has everything we needed and plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed the pool table. We paid to have the pool heated, but they were missing a part so we couldn’t use it. We were refunded our money to heat the pool, but it was a bummer not to be able to use it as our kids were looking forward to having a private pool. The pool was big enough for all 8 of us to swim at the same time. It was wonderful to have some beach chairs, pool toys, and pool towels included in the house. We could see the beach from 2 of the 3 balconies. The kitchen had a huge, spacious island. There were some interesting inlets for exploring and for catching crabs, which the kids enjoyed. We rented a golf cart for the week and had fun cruising back and forth into the village area. The beach is right across the street, and on this end of the island, there is always beach to walk on. The neighborhood is great and beach access is within sight of the front door! Ocean views from the porches made morning coffee a delight. We opted for heating the pool which was great given the winter storm passing through the area causing cooler temps. Great bedrooms, kids LOVED playing pool in the downstairs game room. We made good use of the well appointed kitchen and large dining table for nightly meals. I cannot overstate how pleased we were with our stay at this property. The house is immaculate inside and out, with a beautifully manicured lawn and pool area, governor’s driveway, lovely furniture, well-stocked kitchen, and more. The multiple decks allowed for morning coffee with ocean views and evening relaxation before bed. Short walk to the sand, short bike ride to the pier, and short drive to grocery stores and Starbucks. Steps away from activity at the beach, yet the location is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the private pool and closeness to the bike path so we could bike into town for shopping, eating, and sightseeing. There is plenty of parking with the large driveway and garage in back. There is great space inside the house, and even with 8 adults and 2 babies we never felt crowded. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived (and I am very picky about that!). We didn’t need anything during our stay, but the rental agency was fast in responding to any questions I had. The pool was the big hit for all of us. The leasing company was very helpful, rushing a propane tank out for the grill on a Sunday night only to realize right before they got here that I made a mistake and we had plenty of gas but they were very nice about it. Only negative is that there is Georgia stuff in the house...
