This condo was amazing! It was very clean and was perfect for our large family to all be able to stay together. There are restaurants within walking distance and a cute outdoor shopping area about a mile away. We will definitely stay again!

The place was very nice, love the renovation of the bathrooms. The beach was very nice. The only thing I didn't care for is there is now a sort of moat before getting to the beach.

The condo was perfect- great sized rooms, plenty of bathrooms, and gorgeous view of the ocean. One little tricky part was finding the parking spot. The location of the condo is in between the two elevators, but we found it, finally!!! Truly wonderful experience and I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this VRBO.

Nice Property

The property and location were very nice. the beach was a little bit of a walk but once there very nice. the unit was very big and spacious and was great for the 4 adults and three kids under 10. For the price, i would have expected a few extras such as more than just 4 beach towels, more than two kitchen trash bags (there were other bags but they were two small for the trash bin), and enough toilet paper to last a four bedroom 6 days. Overall though, would rent again as was very nice and the other owners/guests were very friendly.

Family vacation for 7 2024 - St. Simon’s Island, GA

Property was great. Would suggest the availability of more bath towels, lone bath towel per person is not enough. Repairing the sliding glass doors in the family room so that are easier to slide. The fan in the master bedroom needs to be turned down because it’s on the highest setting and it’s too high, making it uncomfortable. It needs to be remote controlled or have a wall switch.

Good: View; Kitchen dishes, cutlery, & coffee potsBad: -Opened wine and food in refrigerator and wine cooler, crumbs on one table. We tossed and cleaned.- Food/kitchen items in cabinets, one so full we couldn't put our items in it.- "Stuff" (decorations?) all over everywhere, so not enough room to put our items on bedroom bureau; primary bedroom closet had "stuff" all thrown in one corner.- No "starter" kit, so no soap for showers, etc. Guests should have been notified ahead of time.- Broom filthy & splayed so difficult to sweep floor properly- Walked all over 3rd floor to find trash shoot & finally called mgr. to be told we needed to go outside to the trash bins. Again, need info before checking in.- Guests departed at differing times, but had no check-out info, so had to call for that, too.- Very nice to have cabinet of puzzles and games, but they were thrown into cabinet & a mess. We straightened that out, also.- Lightbulbs were all dim/low wattage, so could not read in bed. Had to bring three lamps over to table to work a puzzle.- Two standing lamps have sharp edges on the decorated poles. Hazardous.- One guest bedroom had a wooden platform around it & was hazardous to hitting legs/ feet.- Marketing picture showed two twin beds in two guest rooms, but one guest room had bunk beds. Not a hit with senior citizens.Apparently out of allocated writing room, or I would keep writing. Never VRBO again if this is standard.

A Nice Stay but...

The Grand is a spectacular property; the location is simply terrific. This particular property, however, is a bit tired. The 4-bedroom layout is very nice and the bed variety and arrangement is nice. But everything feels a bit old. Moreover, the cleaning was below average - there were coffee grounds and cold coffee left in the coffee pot, for instance. And the tile floor, while clear of debris, was not adequately cleaned, as evidenced by the dirt on our socks! The furniture was also nice but the upholstery hasn't been cleaned in quite some time and rust stains on outdoor furniture and fixtures, along with a missing switch plate, gave the place a tired look. The giant TV in the den, combined with the YouTubeTV, was great. But the TVs in the bedrooms didn't work. All in all then, a very good location but this unit needs a facelift and a good cleaning. Still, it was a nice and enjoyable Thanksgiving visit.

Condo was very clean and had all the comforts of home! Condo had a nice view of the beach in addition to overlooking the pool in the courtyard below. The condominium complex was close in proximity to downtown area/all the shops, lighthouse and Neptune park. Family / grandkids also really enjoyed the pool- great way to unwind at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our visit to St Simons Island and look forward to coming back!

Condo just as advertised/Large/Comfortable/Awesome View

This property was as expected. First, the communication was great (immediate answers). The grounds are beautiful with a great swimming pool and short walk to the ocean. The condo has excellent views of the ocean. The main television was large and awesome. This is a 4 bedroom and so the living area was also very large and comfortable. It is in a perfect area with a short walk to restaurants etc. The parking was easy and very available. The outdoor patio was large with generous seating available. If you look at the pictures, what you see is what you get. I would rent again if we needed 4 bedrooms. The starter package was very generous with laundry soap, dish soap, garbage bags, and many many extras.
