"After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!"

"This home has lots of potential and you can tell they are doing a lot of improvements to the home. They are not finished but you have to appreciate the work put in. My only suggestion would be have professional cleaners to clean property. They could remove the spider webs that are on most of the door jams. They could also use new furniture (old and not in the best condition) it takes away from the beauty of the home. I suggest high end finishing and screen in the outside sitting area."

"My family and I were in town for a couple of nights as I graduated from UNC-G conferring a masters degree. The home looked just as it was described. It was beautiful and clean. Check-in was simple and easy and the owner communication was prompt and quick. The decor was strategically placed and the kitchen was well stocked. "My family and I came up for a short weekend trip to attend an event at the Colosseum. We were within walking distance! The house was absolutely beautiful inside and we couldn't have been happier with all the attention to small details like phone chargers, coffee, and toiletries. Location was a little iffy but we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back the next time we come to Greensboro."

"I stayed with my son at this property for a week while he swam at the Nationals Swim Meet at the Greensboro swim coliseum. The property was perfect for us--a 10 minute drive from the venue, but in an established, safe neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees and plentiful walking paths. It is walkable to great local restaurants and coffee shops, and a short drive to great shopping, dining, grocery stores (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc.). Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!!"
