“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b……

“Friendly helpful staff. Courtyard room very small and although there was an air cooler it was useless. We took our Dyson fan with us and hardly slept on the first night. Definitely need air conditioning in bedroom. Very nice breakfast with good menu. Inside The Orange Tree we found it very tired and needed a thorough clean eg windows, window ledge and ornaments adjacent to our breakfast table. I mentioned this to a waitress as not very appetising. Also the upholstered chairs looked really……

“We’ve stayed at the Globe a number of times, and unfortunately this was the worst yet. I think it essentially depends on where you get placed - annex, arch house or in the pub etc, as to what the rooms are like rather than your booking. The room we were in was tiny, thank goodness it was only for one night. The room itself also needs a freshen up/good clean, with splash/dirt marks up the walls and paint chipped. “Upon arrival the caravan was so warn 35 degree temperature inside so needed to open doors and windows maybe it's good idea to leave the window open when there's arrival. Also did manage to arrive by 6pm to check in as we been on day out so we didn't have linen in our rooms which has been explain when I ask about late arrival but maybe leave the linen in the caravan we don't mind making it ourselves. Facilities are good and definitely be back when we go same place. Thank you”
