“This was the perfect base for hiking in the Bernese Obelrand. The house was excellent and I appreciated the attention to detail. It was cozy, and had everything we needed. Plus a nice yard and a great view from the terrace. ”

“The chalet has the most amazing views of Lake Brienz. The house is very spacious; our family was able to all have our own space. There are three levels with bedroom down from main floor and two bedrooms up from the main floor. Loved the balcony off the upstairs bedrooms.Highly recommend!”

“This location was just perfect - the view alone would have sold us, but the house also was very clean, and was located right across from the bus stop. Xiufen was extremely responsive and set us up on advance with the Panorama pass which makes most bus trips free, and gives discounts on some attractions. Suggest to take train to Thun and bus to the location. Close to a walking suspension bridge and nice trail, also close to an extensive cave system worth visiting. ”

“My family of five stayed here for six days and loved the property and its surroundings. Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. Although a bus comes to the town and right by the home, we had a car and feel like that was really……

“Great location and view of the Mountains. Easy walk to nearby trails. There was a Full kitchen which was great. There was great attention to details which greatly improved our stay! The clothes dryer was a bit slow to dry and needed multiple attempts but otherwise everything was amazing! ”

Our three sons made all the travel arrangements and other than the trip over and back we couldn’t have done more to make this dream a reality. The accommodations were great and the location stunning.
