"We enjoyed staying in this dog-friendly Tahoe Donner vacation home. It was comfortable and nicely apportioned. We really appreciated that all the windows and slider had operational screens and that there were free-standing fans available! Many of the homes we have rented have not had screens (to allow for afternoon cooling without attracting moths and mosquitos in). We also appreciated access to the garage to store our bikes safely. The only comment is the vacuum cleaner was non-functional -- it had no suction, so it was just pushing things around the floor. Thank you and we would definitely consider renting this house again!"

"We stayed at this property for 4 nights and we unfortunately had some bad experiences, most of which were avoidable by the property managers - we had to deal with mice running around in the house, not cool, not hygienic and freaked everyone out- house was in beaten up shape with need for lots of updates - beds were saggy, couches were old, dinning table seats had no cushions and hurt our butts, drains were clogged- TVs are old and running on not so reliable platforms- Basketball hoops was broken and had open plastic edges that could hurt kids- Pots and Pans were all dirty and dinged up, non-stick coating was off and pans were unusable, cutting board had mould and cracks all over, knives were blunt- garage door was damaged (apparently by a bear)- hot water took for every to show upFirstly, when you are paying close to 800/night, you expect these things to be in order and sorted out for you. The management once contacted sent someone out who layed down mice traps and brought us new pots and cutting board, cleared 1 drain, etc. but it was too late, they should have accounted for these checks prior to us checking in. Chipped Non-stick pans are health hazzard and Mice running around is just Gross.Despite these inconveniences they did not offer any reasonable refund (offered 50/night refund) which is greedy and stupid in our minds. We feel the best thing to do is to IGNORE this property and let them learn a lesson on how to be more professional and organized "

"We came for a surprise birthday trip and were able to very comfortably sleep 15. The house was conveniently located and had tons of amenities to keep us busy when we weren't out on the lake"

"Overall, this property was everything that we could've asked for and more. Things we liked: Amazing views off of 3 separate decks. Great kitchen that was fully stocked - bring food and you should have all the tools to make it. Movie Theater seating and ease of using said movie theater (we just brought a laptop). Responsiveness of the property manager - she responded within 2 hours when I texted her on a Sunday night. Sauna, steam room, and hot tub all were awesome, only issue was space because everyone wanted to use them. Location - Right next to 2 golf courses and a trailhead. Close enough to town and Tahoe to drive and get to said places. Sound system easily controlled through a phone app that allows you to play Spotify/Apple on 1, 2 or all 3 floors depending on time of day or atmosphere. The showers...definitely enjoy the Master Bedroom shower, that is a work of art in itself.Things we disliked: If you have trucks, you'd have trouble fitting 10 vehicles as stated. We had 7 and adding an 8th required parking sideways. With cars, 10 is probably feasible, but driving to the mountains usually requires larger vehicles. That said, being able to fit 8 large vehicles is quite a lot already and probably doable for 99.99% of groups. Stairs...holy crap so many stairs. Overall, we are all sad we are no longer there, and back in the real world, but highly recommend this place. 5 stars out of 5 "
