The room was spacious and very clean. It had all the basics for our 2 night/3 day trip. The amenities of the building were lovely. Great location. We stayed in apartment #511. The only reason we didn't give the stay a 5-star rating was that the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The pillows were fluffy but flattened to almost nothing once you put your head on them. The mattress was too firm. It hardly moved when we'd lay on it. We had restless sleep.

It was very busy when we came in so there was no parking close to hotel so I had to check in while my daughter drove in circles until we could get the key for the parking garage. The Roost is a fantastic property! We were in Tampa for a conference at the Convention Center and all the host hotels were sold out, so we booked at the Roost. I’m so glad we did! I think it was a much better option than staying at one of the Convention Center hotels. I loved the studio apartment feel and the hip Water Street location. I would definitely recommend the Roost to anyone looking for a hotel in the Downtown Tampa area.
