It is a cosy studio apartment, with a very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, and nice bathroom with good water pressure and double sinks. The host is very gracious and thoughtful, providing freshly ground local coffee for the coffee maker, tea bags, and small soap and hair care products for the bathroom. Towels and linens were clean and looked new. Our host was very responsive to questions and suggestions. We cooked a few meals in the small but usable kitchen with a good assortment of pots, pans, and kitchen tools. The oven, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker all worked perfectly. No automatic dishwasher. No dining table, only a raised counter with two high stools. Because it is in the center of town and on a busy road, light sleepers and people needing absolute silence to fall asleep should plan accordingly. Though we had no problems finding street parking nearby, this unit offers no off-street parking. Some Taos parking lots do not allow overnight parking, either. A nice park for dog walking is only a few blocks away. We loved the location, the gracious and welcoming host, and the experience of staying in a real adobe hideaway in the heart of Taos. ##### Kabir M. Had fans but it was very warm. We left the interior door open at night to help cool the place, but were a little concerned about safety.
