“A real gem on the river. The host was amazing and quickly responded to my questions. We truly loved this peaceful cabin surrounded by trees. Nature abounded: bears, eagles, otter playing in the river, kingfisher hunting, geese flying in formation above the water, truly a nature lovers destination! The sunroom was a favorite for coffee in the am, wine in the evening, chatting or reading or simply watching the flow of the river. Cabin is well stocked and nicely appointed. “The pictures are accurate but don’t do the property justice. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our morning visits from a flock of turkeys walking the grounds. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Great location and host. ”

Townsend is a great area to stay in to avoid the touristy areas and have some peace and quiet. We took day trips and had a wonderful time exploring the Smokies!”
