“The Rock was a beautiful place. Staff was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We stayed in the ocean front villa, which is actually three separate “rooms”. A kitchen - stove, fridge, toaster and toaster oven, kettle, etc, with place to sit to eat and a toilet. Then two separate suites for sleeping etc. We were two couples, so perfect for us. Pool is amazing and there’s a nice shady room right off the pool to get out of the sun. Beach is pretty, but not a swimming beach. When the tide……

“I booked this hotel because of the positive comments, yet I was rather disappointed after having stayed for five nights. No change of bed / pillow sheets everyday. Dried blood stains found on the pillow sheets. Catering quality not even as good as the local restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. “There were restaurants and lots of cheap massage places right outside the property within walking distance. There was also a 7 eleven and another little store for snacks within walking distance. They had a free shuttle to Lamai beach every few hours. The property was very nice.
