Summary: okay stay. Not perfect, but I would stay again. 3.5-4/5 stars Positives - air conditioning in room - fridge/kitchen - surprisingly, despite there being only 6 showers for the entire hostel, I never had to wait - location: ten minutes or less to ferry - privacy curtains on beds - enough clearance under bunks to keep your suitcase - quiet--not a party hostel - breakfast provided: bread, cheese, oranges, spreads, coffee/tea - reality clean, though I think the bathrooms could use a clean - was able to leave my bags for a few hours and they even let me take a shower before heading to airport Needs Improvement: - wifi range a bit spotty and slow at times; need more bandwidth (or whatever the term is) so that it's faster. Also needed to be re-set at times - lockers in women's dorm dont actually lock - remotes for the A/C should not be kept in the room. The hostel should agree to a set temperature and keep it there. I stayed here twice and both times there was disagreements between dorm mates about what the temperature should be set at - need a mirror in the dorm - no windows in female dorm - breakfast ends a bit early @ 08:30 - I needed a computer to check-in for my flight, as my phone died. Hostel staff said they were not allowed to assist, even when I proposed they stand there and watch me input my info. - one of the bathrooms has no soap dispenser - no hot water in kitchen. This is a bit concerning in terms of sanitizing shared dishes and cutlery.

Staff are very present and willing to do what is needed to make your stay a present one.

Room is neat and modern; good layout. Bed is really comfy. Right out front is a good pool that I didn't use but I did do lots of snorkeling right out front of that which was excellent. Lots of coral and fish and some turtles too. Nice restaurant on site but we had a car and tried a bunch of the nearby ones also which were also great.

Easy access to and from the airport. The room was a lot more spacious than I expected. With separate bedroom and a long balcony with ocean view. The hotel ground floor was like a botanical garden, with a variety of plants. Two issues, the toilet was quite high in the room and the restaurant staff during lunch did not remove my plate after I had finished eating. They kept walking past my table and tended to other guests. On checkout I had to question the bill in regards to the VIP access discount. Thanks to Laura for sorting it out.
