Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at 11:00 AM and again at 11:30 AM, completely disrupting my rest. On top of that, the 6-digit access code repeatedly malfunctioned when trying to exit the building and parking areas. It’s a great property, but management urgently needs a centralized communication system.

Staff were so kind & accommodating. They were always available to help with anything you needed. The breakfast was amazing as were all the meals. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit. Also a great perk being attached to the mall.

"New Glamping Units are well appointed and very comfortable. The outside showers has large openings on the side which makes you feel very exposed, but easily fixable. Because it is new, there are no plants between the units which does not offer any privacy for now. I would consider privacy screens ..."
