“For a 2 star hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, fridge working well, air conditioning working very nicely as I entered the room. Bed was pretty good, not the softest, but then again I sleep in a semi most of the time. If you want breakfast in the morning, sorry, perhaps coffee and/or nutrient bar are available. Appreciated the owner telling me, at check in and being straight forward about the non-breakfast mornings. I can easily deal with a different breakfast option. ……

“I made a reservation for a NON-SMOKING room. Immediately upon opening the door, I could smell the signs of cigarette smoke in the room. I found cigarette burns on the bathtub, where cigarettes were left on the edge of the tub. I also found a burn hole in the linen on the bed. There was no remote in the room for the TV. I talked to the individual at the front desk, and was told that all rooms of the establishment were non-smoking. There were non-smoking signs on a few rooms, but there was……
