“The building is in a great location in Roma Norte and had 24 hour security. It felt self, was clean, and the apartment was as pictured. Although the host responded timely to all inquiries, the check-in process was not easy. We were told we would receive information to access the apartment a few hours before check-in. We arrived at the building late in the evening and showed our IDs to security as instructed, but we still had not received information about the apartment number or access code...

“Overall, I recommend staying here. The place is clean and well located. Roma Norte is a lovely neighborhood. There a several places to buy groceries, some great restaurants and an abundance of cafés. The apartment is on the first floor, and although it was spacious and had a small veranda, there was little natural light. It didn’t matter to us, as we were out all day enjoying the city. The veranda is also indoors, with a skylight 4 stories up. The apartments above us had windows and walkways...

“The home was very centrally located. As previous reviews have noted, the street was very loud all night long. But I sleep with ear plugs and it didn’t bother me. The check in process was not great as the access code had been changed and we had to wait almost an hour to get the correct code. But the property manager was very responsive during this time. There was a very strong smell that came from the primary bathroom that wasn’t pleasant. But overall The home was clean, looked like the pictures,...

“Pros: The apartment is exactly as pictured. Beautifully decorated and nicely appointed. It’s in a great location and high up enough to minimize outside noise. Cons: communicating with the host was difficult (I speak fluent Spanish) They were very late in meeting me at the property and they never resolved my multiple inquiries regarding why I could not get the range top to work.”
