Overall not a bad one night stay, the property manager was very accommodating to our needs. But the unit itself could use a little TLC. Pros: Accommodating property manager Comfortable bedding and sheets Spacious parking Towels and toiletries provided, as well as pan ware for cooking. Cons: A smell throughout the unit (probably a given since it’s on older building) Carpets need to be redone or deep cleaned. Bathroom had a smell to it, along with temporary patch in the tub wall, maybe it needs to be replaced entirely. Parts of the wall seem to be rotted towards baseboards. A window was left open in a spare room prior to our arrival, didn’t notice until after we returned from shopping. All the windows were left unlocked. It was a good one night stay, but all in all, this place could use a bit more renovating

This is our second time staying here. We love this place. It’s super cute and well taken care of. Only suggestion I have is, the room we were in had no shelves in the shower to put your shampoo and things. It would be nice to have a place to set those things instead of the floor. Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!

The laundry room was fine. There was no staff. It was a kiosk check-in outsourced to India. No personal touch here. Since there was no staff, all public trash containers were overflowing with food and trash. The breakfast area was okay but doesn’t even open until 7:00am. I’m usually out of the hotel by 7:00 when I’m traveling. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. I won’t be back.

The hotel is like a mall with the rooms being on 3 levels and the room enclosed by two large windows and a glass front door that has black out curtains attached. The curtains are not attached at the bottom so they move and open up whenever you walk by. Some rooms have shutters and those rooms I can see inside what’s on the floor even with the blinds closed. I didn’t feel comfortable dressing in the bedroom because of these windows and the door even with the curtains. The doors are opened by a keypad code so you have to make sure no one is watching you open your door. The pool is next to the foyer enclosed by an open slat fence. The hotel is perfect for families with kids. For someone that wants a quiet respite, I would not recommend this hotel because you will hear kids screaming in the pool and running up and down the halls. If you want to take a bath, you have to request a tub stopper from the desk. Also my bathtub shower handle was faulty so I could only choose between a lukewarm temp or scathing hot. There are no green areas around so it’s not ideal for dog travelers. The front desk was nice and the room was clean. Breakfast was just toast and various baked goods and cereal.

I enjoyed the stay at La Quinta, very friendly and welcoming staff, the property was well maintained. only problem I had was in the gym, one of the cables needs attention , other than that all went very well!
