“This is a very nice hotel! My only complaint is that I didn’t plan to stay two nights instead of just one here on our road trip. It’s modern, beautiful, clean and comfortable. Luxury at an affordable price. We especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We always try to stay at hotels that offer a breakfast and the fare is usually pretty good. But this was a cut above, fresh fruit with yogurt honey or strawberry topping, freshly made French toast, a well seasoned frittata to mention a few.……

“The good: Love the ocean front room. The view is beautiful. The restaurant downstairs is convenient and decent. The not so good: The beach chairs and umbrellas are in a sad state, falling apart. They used to charge for them. They can't anymore, so they now charge $20 plus tax per day to park in their parking lot at the hotel. The design of the double room has the air conditioner blowing on the face of the person in the bed closest to the sliding glass door. The ice machine was down on our floor……

“Everything was great until I pulled back the covers to get in the king size bed and found it was full of sand and very small dark curly hairs. Since I didn’t want to cause a fuss at 1 am with the security guard, who was the only staff available from 7 - 7,
I pulled all the bedding off and slept in one of the twin beds instead. Definitely a one and done at the Atlantic Beach Resort for me. I would ask for a refund if I thought they would issue one.”
