"Location was ideal for our trip - easy to find and large car park. The building looks very impressive externally and the inside was just stunning. The decor and surrounding give the place a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at reception and made to feel very welcome. The room was outstanding - plenty of room and the bathroom was unbelievable - everything was so clean and comfortable. Had a lovely meal in the evening - first class and excellent portion size - cooked to perfection for both of us. Service was superb and very attentive. Breakfast was lovely too - had the best poached eggs I have ever had and the breakfast set is up for the day around the Lakes. Will definitely return - the best was so comfy and the temperature of the room was just right - slept like a log and fully refreshed the next day. A gem of a hotel and I cannot compliment enough. I would also express my sincerest thanks to the staff and management who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

"Clean and comfortable. Made very welcome. Shower is lovely. Room was very warm even with radiator turned down, as I was on ground floor couldn't really have windows open at night. Bit disappopinted milk and bottled water not replenished or bin emptied. "

"Very clean room and breakfast lovely, hot, high quality bacon,sausage etc . Pets welcome in the bar area only Mattress too firm for our choice but this personal to each person . Nice touch of bottled water , various selection of small soaps, shampoo etc and choc biscuits in room . Very busy Friday night for eating so understandably bit of a wait find our table and take orders . Great food and beers ! "
