“The Crane Resort is wonderful and absolutely terrible both. This may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. Our family loved many things about this property, but we also hated some basic must haves. First, the location can be considered a good or bad thing. The property is isolated and the activity and restaurant selection is limited. We rented a car which helped us get around. The resort is on the windy side of Barbados and the waves can be large. “Staff was amazing, BUT just on the next day of my stay ( Out of 7 nights), the construction workers arrived and occupied most of the resort. I booked a stay at a quiet resort and carefully planned it, as it was over a week. Was looking for a peaceful retreat as per their description. It was a complete opposite- the male guest ( construction workers) were very loud, until late hours, crazy music until late and also early morning from 5am, as they were getting ready to work.
