Things to do in El Combate

Combate Beach is divided into two distinctive, equally beautiful crescents of sand, split in the middle by Punta Aguila. The significant length of the beach and its two-part shape mean that you can always find a spot of sand that suits your needs. Choose between the charming, developed northern beach, which features restaurants, resorts and boats bobbing in the water, or the quieter southern side, which offers uninterrupted views of Bahía Salinas and the Morillos Peninsula.

With its broad expanse of soft golden sands, pristine ocean waters and natural setting, Boquerón Beach is one of the village’s premier attractions. Stretching over a mile (1.6 kilometers) south of the picturesque bayside village of Boquerón, the beach has plenty of space for fun and relaxation. The Cabo Rojo Lighthouse, also known as “Faro de Los Morrillos,” is a striking landmark in one of the most spectacular parts of the Cabo Rojo region of Puerto Rico. The plaza is one of the sightseeing and cultural focal points in Mayagüez, but it is also a destination in its own right.
