Family Retreat - Voted Best Vacation Rental 2016
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay here. The house has a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility, and it quickly felt like a home away from home. The living areas are spacious, the views over the surrounding landscape are beautiful, and the swimming pool was a real highlight—our daughters absolutely loved spending time in it.The property is about a 10-minute drive from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. From there, it takes around an hour to reach General Sherman, so it’s worth planning your day accordingly. There are a couple of small markets and an ice cream shop nearby, although prices are quite high. What really makes this place stand out is the care and attention of the host. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Each bathroom has a basket filled with useful items you may have forgotten to pack, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, antacid tablets, and even reading glasses. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel genuinely cared for.The house is beautifully maintained and managed with exceptional attention to detail. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay while visiting Sequoia National Park."
12x14 Cabin Tent. 4.5 miles to the Sequoia National park entrance.
10/10 Excellent
"The property is close to the road, but well thought out with privacy fencing and bushes so you feel like you are further way from the road than you actually are. Campground facilities were clean, had the nicest pit toilet I’ve ever seen. Outdoor shower was very nice, also an indoor shower if outdoor is not in your comfort zone. Very short drive to Sequia national park. Recommend checking out Three Rivers Yogurt for dessert, and the local Mexican restaurants for lunch/dinner. Camp host is very friendly. Enjoyed picking up souvenirs for family back home at the Jerky shack attached to the campground."
