"We came in for a few days for a wedding. This little house was charming and very comfortable . Definitely will come back for a quick weekend . Caretaker Clint was very helpful , picked us up at ferry and took us back to ferry on the way out. He even arranged for a pick up at the airport! Thanks for the great service."

Chris and Carol Lyn have gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and were so helpful in the planning process with recommendations on getting to and navigating the island. "Lovely property, very helpful staff. Dining in was a fairly pricey affair. But then again the whole of Abacos is not an easy place to find reasonably priced restaurants. The island has yet to really recover from the terrible hurricane in 2019. The Resort is an oasis of neatness and order compared to much of the island. I do hope Abacos continues to make progress, it is a lovely place and the people are so kind and helpful."

"Just finished a great stay at Family Tides with my wife and 2 other couples. Hope Town is a beautiful Marina town and very comfortable place to spend the week. If you’re not comfortable driving your own boat, definitely get set up with a guide to take you out on the water a few of the days during your stay. That’s what makes The Abacos so remarkable. For those that are, Island Marine is the go to place to rent a nice center console boat to get you around. We rented their 23ft Albury and had more than enough room for all 6 of us. They are always so accommodating and very reasonably priced. As other reviews stated, it’s a golf cart community, so definitely rent one from one of the local shops in Hope Town. We were able to get a 6-person cart. Definitely hit up On Da Beach, Firefly for a sunset cocktail, and our best meal was lunch at The Abaco Inn. Now onto the house. The owner was super responsive and continually checked in with us throughout the stay. It is exactly how it is pictured and we loved being somewhat isolated on our own side of the Marina. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. We could have easily fit another couple in there with us as well. Also… if you strike out on hunting for lobster (like we did) ask someone local to give you Gypsy Seafoods number. Just a local guy with fresh catches for the day. We picked up lobster tails and grouper to cook at the house. Amazing stay!"
