“I really enjoyed staying in this peaceful cottage, this is the second time I have stayed here. I slept very well in the comfy four poster bed and it's lovely not being troubled by light pollution. The coastal path is very close, and also a beautiful walk through the wooded valley to the waterfall. I had the option of using the log burner but found the cottage was cosy enough. “We had a lovely one night stay. The room was so cute and cosy “13” it was like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. The bed was super comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. Dinner was lovely,as was the breakfast. Staff we friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was that it’s very dog friendly in all areas. Something we aren’t used to in Australia, where they are banned from most places unless they are service dogs. I highly rate the passion fruit cocktails.”

“Freindly welcome and used the lovely indoor pool and spa while room was prepared. Paid extra for deluxe garden suite which was truly incredible. We ate twice in tge evening and at breakfast and the food was very good and reasonably priced. The weather improved a bit on our second day and we enjoyed the outdoor pool which has stunning sea views and is much deeper for swimming. All in all very pleased with our stay and would return especially if an out of season deal was available.”
