The room is well-appointed, clean, and quiet. The bed was plush, and the pillows were perfect. The location is convenient and close to everything you could need.
Check-in was fine; however, I asked what time the restaurant closed, and the clerk explained that there had been storm damage and it was closed. I then had to ask about breakfast and was told there was none.
All well and good, but it would have been good customer service to add that to the hotel confirmation it sent via text. It would also have been basic customer service to explain up front and offer the coffee and pastries for sale in the Lobby as a small substitute.
The Inn has the makings of a high-end property and some of the thoughtful details shine through, it just dropped the ball on the check-in and breakfast.
