Hotel Manager was a complete JERK!

Pros: Pet friendly and we had a courtyard to let the dog run.
Cons: Get A New Manager and have Housekeeping check things like the TV remote, light switches, wet bathroom floor, etc.
Location: My friend and I met at this hotel to go to the Hollywood Casino. Very close by.
Met a friend at this hotel for one night. There was a small bar/grill attached to the hotel which upon checking in the clerk said it was open from 6pm to 11pm. (this bar/grill hasn't been open for quite some time which we found out later) Our room seemed very clean. Went to turn on the TV and the back cover and one battery were missing from the remote. Went to front desk and the clerk put in a new battery and scotch taped the back to hold the batteries. The remote would not turn the TV on and the "power" button on the TV was missing. NO TV! There was 2 lights between the beds and one was missing the turn on/off knob. Water was leaking from the toilet onto the bathroom floor. Two pictures on the wall both had dead bugs under the pane. Next day, complained to the Manager and he was a COMPLETE JERK! Would not apologize for anything, was rude, kept working while I was talking to him. I asked him to please look at me while I talked and his response, never looking up was (I Can Multitask). Will never stay here again while that Jerk Manager is still employed there!!!

Hallways stink, my non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, floor needed vacuumed, rear door in hallway has no security lock, bathroom was dirty, breakfast very minimal, toaster was broke. Female desk clerk on cell phone constantly.

Clean and affordable

Big changes have been made to make this a better hotel!! My only complaint is the bar, after checking in and wanting to unwind; We arrive to find that the bars juices are out of order. We take it upon ourselves to go get juices at the gas station, when we return; we are told that our drinks were going to be over 9$ a piece. What?? I have been to the Cleveland flats, to vegas, drank at clubs on Hollywood blvd, and have NEVER had to pay over 9$ a drink. So our group left the premises to drink and spend our money elsewhere.

We weren't very happy getting woke up by a false fire alarm @ 3:00 a.m or so, and it took over an hour to reset. We stood out in the cold morning for about 10 minutes, waiting for the police and fire trucks,and when they didn't arrive, we went to the main lobby and the lady told us, it was a false alarm. No announcement was made and we weren't even offered a slight discount. I guess that's what happens when you wait until the last minute to book a room. would rather have checked the place out because pictures can be deceiving. (someone helped me book the room)
