“We travelled to Thatch Cottage for a three night stay for my 50th birthday extravaganza. The communication with our hosts as excellent and the check-in process was simple. “My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night break at The Snugg, Ellingham, near Ringwood. It was a very relaxing place to stay and it had been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels were of very high quality. There is a little courtyard garden where we sat out and enjoyed watching various birds visiting the feeder. We were left a very nice welcome hamper and the owners even asked us what type of pillows/duvet we would like. Great thought is……

“Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!”

“We had a lovely long weekend at the Piddle Inn. Downstairs is just like a pub - all for us! Bar, games room and pub kitchen fantastic for a family group. Gorgeous bedrooms and the sound of the stream at night. Lovely walks straight from the back and Alan the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly.”

“If you love long walks, great pubs within walking distance (highly recommend the White Buck btw,) awesome food, great beer and lots peace and tranquility, this cottage is perfect for you. As always (this was our 4th visit,) the cottage is absolutely spotlessly clean, well equipped with every piece kitchen equipment you need, TVs in every room with full access to Netflix / Freeview as well as games etc. for rainy days. The secure garden is perfect for dogs and of course you have the forest on……

“Our stay at quayside quarters was lovely. Jenny was extremely helpful, great location with a short walk to the quay. Room was well equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely recommend and stay again :)”

“This was a lovely property in a beautiful location. The garden was great for the two dogs that we brought. The host showed us around when we arrived and said if we needed anything just to ring this was comforting. The only slight draw back was it could have been a little cleaner in fact there were a pair of knickers under one of the beds presumably left by a previous tenant!”

“We had a long twin room. There were very comfortable beds, with clean sheets. Everything was amazing. Only one thing - some people were walking in corridor the whole night. My friend heard them. I use ear plugs, so it was ok for me.”
