“The mother-daughter duo of Eliza and Elizabeth who run the B&B are amazing! Eliza was easy to contact and stayed late to check us in as our flight arrived late. Elizabeth was so kind and helpful and makes the best scrambled eggs and cappuccino’s! Needless to say we enjoyed the breakfast they prepared for us everyday. “Owner Angelo kindly showed us in. Interior was dated but decent, if oddly decorated (plastic flowers, an Egyptian pyramid picture). Despite booking a family room for our 15-year-old, we got a cramped room with an awkward layout, a fridge that wouldn’t close, and a wobbly bathroom sink. The shower tray leaked, and the showerhead was mouldy and torn — I cleaned it myself. After a lovely dinner in town, we returned to find the pool and function room full of partying teenagers, music blaring past……
