“Perfect place for my husband, adult son (22) and I to enjoy the outdoors. The house faces the lake and although small, it is well laid out and did not feel cramped. Loved that the house came with a fire pit, use of canoe (didn't use) and kayak. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was very clean and organized. We knew before we booked that we would have to drive far for restaurants and groceries, and since we were mid week, many restaurants were closed so we came equipped and……

“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

“I’ve stayed in a number of vrbo’s and this is the first I have been compelled to write a review because the experience was so positive. Property and cabin was clean and in great condition. Linens and beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and location was about 25 minutes from Cooperstown. We saw a ton of wildlife in the area including deer, groundhogs, a fox, chipmunks, and turkeys. Great place to stay! ”
