Had reservations for 3 nights. Upon arrival, I hit the buzzer several times, with no response. I called the number had for it, received message said to leave a message and will back to me soon. I called 20 minutes later and he hung the phone up with no response

Overall, our stay was decent, but there were some noticeable positives and negatives. The biggest disappointment was the front desk clerk, who may have been the owner. He came across as rude and unwelcoming, which made for a poor first impression. In contrast, the rest of the staff—especially the breakfast team—were friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The lobby and other common areas had a very strong odor of marijuana mixed with what smelled like a sewer or other unpleasant smell. It was noticeable every time we walked through and definitely detracted from the overall experience. On the positive side, the breakfast exceeded expectations. There was a great selection, including biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, and other hot items. Our room was clean, and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping the room comfortable. If the management addressed the odors in the common areas and improved the customer service at the front desk, this would be a much better place to stay.

The property is clean and tidy. The hotel is great for a quick visit and overnight stay. If you’re looking for a fair price, no frills hotel, this certainly fits the bill. It’s exactly what a budget friendly hotel should be. Ours was a quick visit. Checked in at 8:00 p.m. and out the following morning at 9:00 a.m. We needed a clean comfortable bed and hot shower and that’s exactly what we got. It may not be the Ritz Carlton but it’s not claiming to be. It’s as advertised and I’ll stay there again. One thing to note and certainly no fault of the hotel. There are train tracks nearby. If you’re a light sleeper, they could interrupt your sleep.
