It feels private and safe, I highly recommend staying here if you're interested in nature, hiking, or just getting away from the hustle and bustle. The beds are comfy, the decorative touches are perfect, and the kitchen is also incredibly well stocked! "

"The room was very clean, no odor, bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were accommodating and kind. The bistro/restaurant has AMAZING food. I mean really, really tasty food. Honestly, I have NO idea why people would complain about this hotel. It is a historic hotel and almost 200 years old. I think you'd have to be a half-brained nitwit to expect it to be modern looking inside. As for the ghosts....I didn't get to see or hear any while we visited. I stayed in Rm 207. I would definitely stay here again."
