“The excellent reviews and the photos of the cabin are all accurate, the cabin is great. I found the location to be great, far enough from the busier areas around the park but close enough, 20 mins or so, to go back and forth a couple times a day if needed. Would have been nice to use the parking behind the cabin (especially when moving in and out w bags/luggage) as there are certainly a lot of stairs from the road to the cabin and going from the lake to the cabin is a workout, but it’s worth……

“We booked this for a large family trip and the house was more than accomodating for our large group. The home itself is very nice and well maintained. I still give 5 stars but a few minor things I noticed were that the half bathroom door did not lock, some of the windows were in the process or repair so could not open, the wall in the kids room was damaged, and one of the bunkbeds in the kids room was rather wobbly and the safety rail was not secured properly so it went unused. “We had a wonderful stay! The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery—exactly what we were hoping for. We spent most of our time out on the water using the provided kayaks, while the kids had a blast swimming. “First, “ host” never sent any messsges; never responded to any of my emails. The place was already occupied, despite my having a confirmation! The property outside was overgrown, empty bottles/trash spread everywhere. Outdoor cats roaming on property. Current occupants allowed me to come in. The inside was very dirty, mess all over floor. The occupant kindly called “ host” who first thought I had wrong address.The occupant confirmed, with my printout of everything, that my info was correct and……
