“We booked this for a large family trip and the house was more than accomodating for our large group. The home itself is very nice and well maintained. I still give 5 stars but a few minor things I noticed were that the half bathroom door did not lock, some of the windows were in the process or repair so could not open, the wall in the kids room was damaged, and one of the bunkbeds in the kids room was rather wobbly and the safety rail was not secured properly so it went unused. “Property was well maintained inside is very nice. With attention to detail, Large kitchen with nice pots & pans. (Needs a measuring cup ). Bathrooms were fully stocked even though we brought our own toiletries it was nice to have incase anyone forgot something and plenty of nice towels. Having two showers was great and no issues with two people showering at the same time. Fire pit is large and we loved it. “We stayed at the Bear Den when we dropped our daughter off at college. Since it was her first year, we decided to take some family time before we said goodbye.. it was a nice, cozy place to stay, and the kids loved the ability to head to the beach each day. We also enjoyed being able to see and hear the wild life daily. “First, “ host” never sent any messsges; never responded to any of my emails. The place was already occupied, despite my having a confirmation! The property outside was overgrown, empty bottles/trash spread everywhere. Outdoor cats roaming on property. Current occupants allowed me to come in. The inside was very dirty, mess all over floor.
