“The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. The breakfast ladies were phenomenally friendly and helpful. It should have been shared with guests that the fair would……

“This historic landmark inn is huge. The rooms have high ceilings and antique features with comfortable beds and amenities. If modern is what you need, then this is not your place. It is historic and beautiful and awesome staff. There is so much to marvel over in this Inn. There is a lovely café on site in the rear lobby that has delicious coffees and bagels.”
