“Double room #12. Sink plug not present and replacement plug didn't keep water in basin.
Room NOT cleaned after 1st night and even after Double checking "please make up room" tag on the door handle after 2nd night, damp towels on shower floor and bed still not made up.
But night Staff very helpful with fresh towels at midnight!”

“Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites.
The Breakfast was excellent.”

“Big changes since new ownership- none of them good unfortunately! 👎
Since new owners came in:
Soap in rooms GONE ❌
Shower gel in rooms GONE ❌
Biscuits in rooms GONE ❌
Real butter in restaurant GONE ❌
Local cheese at breakfast GONE ❌
Fair midweek room rates£ GONE ❌
Measly penny pinching! Sad to see as the excellent staff here look demoralised by what’s happening around them! I sense they’re embarrassed!
If your budget runs to a standard double room you’ll experience an uncomfortable dated……
