"The staff could not do enough for us, they were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nice and very clean plenty of towels, coffee etc options in the room (loads in fact!) . Two good sized car parks so no worries on that front. The building is a proper pub which is lovely when so many or closing down or being modernised. Overall if anyone is looking for a traditional friendly B&B in a pub I would totally recommend The Farmers Arms"

"We chose this hotel based on its proximity to Tintagel and Port Isaac. In the end, we decided not to go to Tintagel but we would go to Port Isaac. The bus to Port Isaac stops a short 2-3 min walk from the hotel and after trying to get to Port Isaac in the past and encountering fords (water) and very narrow country lanes, the bus was certainly a great option. I stayed in Bothywick with my grandma and on the day I had to go to a wedding my grandma was looked after by Pat and Tony, they really went above and beyond for her! "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
