Property was under construction due to weather issues. Room had pet hair throughout the room. Room had a kitchenette but did not come with cooking or dinning utensils. Desk staff was not inviting 😕. Very bland attitude.

One of the cool things about Savannah is all of the well preserved old buildings. We didn't necessarily want to stay in an old house or hotel, so we chose The Alida. I don't know the whole story, but it looks 'old' on the outside, but the inside is super modern and just beautiful. The room was big and open and clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect as well, walking distance to the historic distric, River Street and the City Market. The weather didn't cooperate on the trip so we spent more time in the room than planned, but I enjoyed every moment at the hotel!
