“The room was very clean. air conditioner worked great. Did have the smoke detector go off.The staff handled this. Night desk agent was very rude as I arrived at 5am and simply asked if I could store my bags. He got angry and actually slammed the night window closed and left. He stated the hotel was full as there was another potential guest asking about rooms. Instead of letting me store my bags and then walk around Savannah. (I arrived on the Amtrak, and took an Uber to drop my bags at 5am. )……

“Property was ok, pool was clean, room was descent. Furniture is not as updated as pictures look, sheets need to be replaced from stains and etc. Bathrooms were updated so that was a plus. Thank goodness I saw no bugs, quiet area but nothing is in the area only thing close is a gas station and waffle house, beach Pavillion is 32min away. Nice front desk staff.”

“Apparently there is a 15 minute rule. So if you check in and don't make it back to the front within 15 minutes, you can't get a refund. So we were forced to pay for the night we didn't even stay there. Room was terrible but service we received was even worse. Room smelled like mildew and Marijuana but we were called "crazy" because "it's a non smoking room". Dirt in the beds, ceiling falling in, spiders UNDER the mattress. When I went to the service desk to ask for a refund so I could……

“We were pleasantly surprised by how great the staff was as well as how nice the Inn was. We were shown the property upon arriving, including when the happy hour was. We met some of the nicest travelers from Germany, Tennessee, as Panama! It was a fun bunch of people to meet. The best part was the breakfast; praline pancakes! So delicious! John Earl was such a gracious host. We’d definitely recommend a stay at the Azelea.”

“The room and staff were amazing. The only issues we had were the tv didnt work in our room and it was very cold in the room with no way to adjust the temperature. The bed was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable and the room and bathroom were both beautiful and very clean. ”
