Worst hotel ever - DO NOT BOOK!
This hotel was booked for my mother and her partner with a dog and they had a terrible time at the hotel. There were no hotel staff availble to greet them so. Maintainence man had to check them in. They were given a different room to the dog friendly one they paid extra money for because another guest was in their room. The bar and facilities at the hotel were also shut and there was a lot of damp on the walls of their room which is dangerous as well as disgusting. This entire stay was a shambles and my mother and her partner didn’t even stay for breakfast the next morning they felt that uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. People should stay away from this hotel as it’s completely run down and unsuitable for paying customers.

Very disappointed as when I booked this is says it has a health club, this is not the case it closed years ago they have not updated their advert which is very naughty. The heated pool was cold, the sauna was closed, the hot tub was empty and dirty. Breakfast not great. Room was lovely and clean and very warm. hotel was lovely and the lady on reception was really nice. They do need to take off health club and spa from there advert as this is very deceiving.

AVOID!!!!!
Firstly the hotel charged me before check-in. The hotel has a reputation of fawlty towers. The whole experience is a joke!! Upon check-in the receptionist mentioned that no one cares anymore about the building falling apart, as its been sold to developers. Breakfast was limited and staying for business, expected an early breakfast.... again no breakfast before 7.30am. Heating does not turn on until 7pm, so expect a cold room on arrival. £250 for 2 nights is a joke. We asked for a suite and got a family room with mould.
