Nice clean spot for a stopover

The staff was very helpful, the room was clean there was a pool but a little cool and no hot tub.

Room and bathroom clean, had a good breakfast verity that was hot and well prepared.

My father-in-law was suddenly hospitalized after suffering a cardiac arrest and was transferred to Bellin Hospital. In the middle of this emergency, I accidentally booked the wrong dates—one week later than I intended. I realized my mistake just minutes after making the reservation and contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com immediately. Hotels.com even reached out to the hotel on my behalf to request either a date change or a waiver of the cancellation fee. The hotel refused. I still had to book another room for the correct dates, meaning the hotel received additional business from me, yet they still charged me the full amount for the mistaken reservation and would not make any exception. I understand that policies exist, but there should also be room for compassion and common sense in genuine emergencies. I am extremely disappointed by the complete lack of understanding and humanity. I would never choose to stay at a hotel that treats people this way.
