“The River Tree is an excellent value here in this waterfront town of Clarkston. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-furnished. They serve a REAL breakfast, starting very early. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The price is very reasonable. This is my GO-TO place on my frequent trips here.”

“Check in was disappointing. There had been recent unfinished remodeling and our 6 rooms were scattered through 3 stories, and the elevator was broken. It would have been good to have been informed before we arrived. The staff was very responsive to any requests, and the morning free bkfst included a waffle machine with batter, as well as a selection of other goodies! Coffee was pretty weak tho.”

“The room was clean, the staff were helpful when you could get ahold of them. Tried calling from our room several times for questions, and no one ever answered. Parking was fine. There were just 3 of us, so, I guess it was family-friendly.
The rooms had coffee mugs, but no coffee makers?
Beds were clean and comfy.
All, in all, it fit our needs.”

“Check in was smooth and quick. Room was clean..floor squeaked very bad in a couple of spots. Bathroom was small and awkward. No complementary breakfast at this location. Overall a decent place for a short stay.”
