“This was a lovely property. Orange trees were blooming, it overlooked the vineyard, and had beautiful outside and inside common areas. We had a wine tasting and charcuterie board, and Silvie our host was lovely and informative. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay!”

“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……

“The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area. At check in staff member was very helpful suggesting points of interest, restaurants, etc. The room and washroom was very dated with a large veranda. There was mold on the ceiling in the washroom. “My only regret is not staying longer. Everything about our stay was perfect. The owners are wonderful! We drove in from across Spain, and we were ready to unwind after a long journey; they made us feel at home - we loved it. This stay, albeit short, was one of the highlights of our trip. Dinner was great! Definitely planning on returning. ”
