“My niece and i live 5 hours apart so we decided to meet halfway in Mentone to visit before she moved to Maryland. Easy directions, great location, short distance to Mentone and Desoto State Park. “We had a lovely experience at the Great Escape! The home was lovely, quaint, and cozy. It was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen was fully equipped with a wide variety of cooking utensils and equipment. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the fire pit and hammock. “The Cabin was nice but it could use some work, the ceiling in the front bathroom was starting to fall and a few other spots was starting to separate. The Queen bed was upstairs with a Full size bed downstairs. It had a hot tub but it was separate from the Cabin. Overall it was a nice place and we enjoyed ourselves.”

“We enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Mentone! It was spotless and had some nice amenities like a full coffee bar, including flavors to add to our coffee. The view was beautiful off the back deck. The beds were very comfortable with lots of extra blankets. It would be a nice cabin for families too as the loft held a foosball table and a video game, along with a bed.
