"Not a bad motel, good for the price. Only part that was a real issue for us besides the completely flat pillows we were advised that the facility didn’t allow pets however when we went in the room 2 fleas jumped on us which is quite odd for a pet free facility. Other than that the blankets were clean but not really necessarily nice but again the place was super cheap so we didn’t expect much just needed a place to sleep"

"Wonderful Host, ideal location, very clean inside, you can see they have worked very hard to get the home a fresh new look inside. Heidi has thought of most things needed for your stay away from home to this Gorgeous location. Comfortable beds,, Very nice sitting area in the front of the house for a relaxing rest as well. Access to lake and beach a short walk to a VERY CLEAN CLEAN Keyesport Boat launch, restrooms, fish cleaning station, playground, or the view of all the boats in the Marina. Many sand beaches on the North end of the lake.House is, as noted, very boat friendly parking. Next door is also a very cute property they have, which also looked great from the outside. Quiet neighborhood, very friendly locals."

"Went to visit kids who live in the area. Normally we get a hotel but decided to try doing something different. This was so much better than hotels and plan to go back next time we are down."

"Very nice apartment downtown Vandalia across from the old state house and several good restaurants. Vey clean with plenty of space. Note there is a long staircase to the apartment."

"The Nest is a beautiful home, very welcoming with alot of stuff to do. For Adults & Kids. Our family of 16 ranging in age from 68 to 5 months had a great time!! Hosts are very nice & accommodating. They went above & beyond."

Unique loft in historic downtown

"This unique loft was lovely, however it was quite warm.We were in a heatwave with outside temperatures about 95. It is a third floor but the air is a window unit and not big enough with temps inside about 80. We had to borrow a fan from a friend.The toilet was also quite low. Location was wonderful and had no difficulty parking."
