We did have trouble getting in and couldn't contact the owners but after some time managed to get in (the issue was an internet issue making it difficult for us to log on to get the code for keys). It was clean and tidy. ”

“We use taxi or walk, the surroundings made us safe and comfortable. The room is a good size.It is noisy but Sicily is so crammed there are no place where you don’t eat cars, mopeds, unless you are in a pedestrian zone. We like our choice”

“ The hotel staffer is nice, very helpful and we can communicate with each other in English. The hotel is close to train station and town centre but it takes a little time to locate it. The hotel sign board is quite small and not so easy to identify. There is an Asian restaurant next to the hotel which I enjoy having food there. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the building and there is no elevator. I appreciate and thank that the hotel staffer gives me a helping hand to deliver luggage……

“Overall we had a nice experience and the ultimate location was pretty good - easy access to all sights/sounds on Ortigia island and also an easy walk back to the mainland. However this was my first experience where I did not get my property access details in the promised 24hrs before the allowed check-in time through the Expedia website - I waited a few more hours and then decided to reach out to the provided mobile number via text. After no reply for 3 more hours I then called and nobody……
