The poor appearance is unwelcoming, the rooms are very small. The property is right on the main street a lot of car noise and I did not see a pool or Jacuzzi, which it was advertised on the website. I wouldnt stay there again

This place is really good value, location is very convenient, and it has everything you need. Quiet, comfortable bed, shower new and good water pressure, kitchenette with large fridge, parking. We stayed here to go to the Channel Islands National Park and it was very convenient. Restaurants nearby.

Was nice to have a fridge, AC, easy parking, good service, good bathroom lighting, and nice shower pressure. There was no hair dryer. Soap, shampoo, and sheets were all motel-quality.

This was a great motel at a great price in a seaside town. The mattress was super comfortable, the shower was clean with great water pressure. Will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.

Always a gem

We have stayed here multiple times and while it doesn’t look like much from the road it’s a hidden gem. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff is friendly and the location is quiet and convenient for everything we did in the Ventura/Santa Barbara area. Will stay here every time we are in the area.

Old motel that has been nicely upgraded in the bathrooms. Rear unit, on ground floor very quiet except for some construction noise within the motel. The units are very small, hardly space to put your suitcases and beds are soft. Two good restaurants across the street, MX and Thai. We had the one handicapped parking space.

Tho there was jackhammer noises coming from the front of the property, we were happily moved to the back opposite corner and it was perfect. Quiet, comfortable, close to everything we wanted to do on our escape. Once the renovations are complete and there is no construction, this property is a great place to get away!

Clean, comfortable stay at the Crystal Lodge Motel

Had a king and they upgraded us to 2 beds at no charge. Check-in was quick and efficient. The beds were comfortable and the room was recently renovated with new fixtures. Ask for a room in the back, the street noise in the front eventually died down after 10PM

As soon as I walked in, I was early staff said no problem will give you an upgrade. Your room was not quite ready. Everything was brand new floors, kitchen bathroom beds. Very friendly very quick quiet.
