"We absolutely loved our time here, and found the room and space perfect for a week. There were good facilities to cook for ourselves if we wanted to, and the pool area and private garden were great for relaxing. Everyone in the village was really friendly, even playing the England World Cup matches for us, and made us feel at home. Studio Simona is in a good location for exploring Tuscany, and you can even walk to a local vineyard for some wine tasting. We’d definitely recommend staying here,...

"My husband and I enjoyed a 3 week stay at La Casetta. Paolo and Tania were very helpful in all respects. The garden and grounds were really well maintained. However we felt the picture on the website showing La Fornace del Borgo all lit up was misleading as the restaurant complex was empty and shut down waiting for a buyer. "The photos don't capture the incredible 360 degree views. The complimentary tour with wine and olive tasting was exceptional. The apartment is rustic, as pictured, but could use a deep cleaning.The 500 cypress tree lined road winding up to the property only adds to the adventure. "The young lady who checked us in, I believe Gloria was her name, was very sweet and helpful during our stay. She upgraded us to a suite and it was very comfortable except for a dog that barked during the night,apparently, it belonged to the owners who were not on the property. So other than the dog annoying us during the nights and early mornings it was a comfortable place to stay and close enough to Florence to drive to in about 15 to 20 minutes. Just be careful not to be redirected too much...
