Violin Beach

The location is great, very close to zocalo (~5 min walk). The staff is super nice, always being friendly, and willing to answer all your questions. The breakfast is simple, but enough. Wifi signal is not good in the room, but it does not matter if you just need to sleep in the room. The room was a bit hot when I was there (early April) because the windows were always closed (to avoid the noise from the street) and there was only one big fan on the roof; the fan is quite noisy but it's ok if you have earplugs. The only thing I could not overcome was the bunk bed which is very unstable, meaning you could be waken up by your bed mate at night if she/he could not sleep well either. Overall this is still a good choice for budget backpackers.

A wonderful stay in Mexico City. Casa Decu is located in the heart of Condesa, a safe and highly walkable neighbourhood filled with great cafés, restaurants, and parks. The hotel has plenty of character, but what impressed me most was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and paid great attention to detail throughout my stay. A great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable boutique hotel in one of the best areas of the city.
