"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "This was probably my favorite hotel in the camino portugues! So comfortable and luxurious. Our room was a great size. Our bed was very comfortable, the hotel was unique and interesting. Our bathroom was spa like and I loved the tub after a long day of walking the camino. Very convenient, just off the c amino, and close to restaurants and town. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I would love to come back!"

"Very close to the camino and walkable to restaurants and the grocery store. We were tired after a long day of walking and the staff was very helpful with helping us figure out how to get checked in. Our room was small but everything was very well organized and we had everything we needed. The purse, common areas were very nice, we enjoyed sitting at the tables and chairs in the sunroom to relax with a snack and a soda and read for a while before bed. We didn't need to use the laundry, but that was a good amenity. There was a microwave also in the common area. I just wish there was either a mini fridge in the room or a shared fridge in the common area. We would book again."

The bar/restaurant was excellent, outdoor dining was lovely, beds were comfy, room was spacious, and staff were helpful and unobtrusive. Taxi service to Santiago de Compostela was available but a bit pricey. If you have a car, parking is plentiful. I would stay again!"

"The property is really cool - and I think if you’re hiking the Camino de Norte it’s probably ideal. If you are driving this place is not easy to get to. If you do drive make sure you are checking in well ahead of time and drive during day light. The address in expedia is different than the one provided by the host. We were late to check in and the process was quite challenging. The host was very helpful with communication. The space was cute but the cleanliness was lacking. It felt like it had been cleaned a while ago and then no one cleaned before we got there. Location was great. Stunning property, easy walk into town."
