"This was our first stay at the Parkman, formerly, the Talley Ho Inn. We have stayed at several places around Townsend, and feel this is the best so far. We had a second floor room with a balcony, and Mountain View to the east, and it was very enjoyable to have morning coffee as the sun rose above the mountain. We went this year to walk a few trails, and were pleased to see the Townsend Trail runs across the front of their property. Our room was spacious and laid out very well. The staff was very easy to work with checking in and out and very cordial and helpful. Our room was well taken care of by the staff. We enjoyed our stay so much, we went ahead and booked next years reservation."

"Staff was very friendly and room was clean but it did smell musty and my fridge was barely cold. Both are not deal breakers but I was expecting better quality with the “exceptional” rating it was given. Breakfast was terrible and very disappointing though. I was there at 6:30 each morning and the amount of food out was very low and not enough to make a plate on day one. When I tried again the next day, I got the feeling that food wasn’t restocked because the items looked exactly the same as the day before (for example: only 2 eggs were available and they were in the same spot as the day before). Decided to try a bagel day 2 and you could tell it had been out for a while. It was hard and stale. I don’t expect grand things from a 2 star hotel, but I did go out of my travel area to stay at a better rated hotel hoping for more. "

"The room was clean, dated and can use some easy maintenance but overall comfortable. Close shuttle ride to airport but breakfast not available until after 6:30 so if you need the 6:30 shuttle or earlier, no breakfast for you. Friendly staff and the pool and fitness room looked good."

"Staff was great. Park and fly option is great. My only complaint is that the tv is mounted in a weird way so only one of us could see the screen from the bed. The bathroom hand soap is mounted on a wall so you have to shut the door to use the sink. It was pretty noisy in the hallways in early evening. Other than that it was a great stay."

"We stayed for the Luke combs concert. We had so many issues getting a ride share to get back to the hotel. We were stranded downtown for 2 hrs. I called and talked to the man who was working night shift at the hotel he was very understanding and gave me a number for a ride share driver. I called and was finally able to get a ride to the hotel. He was a lifesaver! "
