“The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking.
We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice.
Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up.
Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right……

“Wundervolles, herzliches und stets hilfsbereites Personal, bei dem man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Strände sind sehr sauber, liegen mitten in der Natur und sind nie überfüllt. Der Ort ist nicht übermäßig touristisch und hat sich dadurch seinen authentischen und ruhigen Charme bewahrt. Ein ideales Reiseziel für alle, die Erholung, Natur und das Meer genießen möchten.”
“Ganz toller Aufenthalt. Alle Bereiche der Anlage sind schön und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Der Fitnessbereich hat neben den Geräten und Gewichten auch umfangreiches Pilates-/Yoga-Equipment. Im Zimmer gibt es einen richtigen Föhn mit Düse und einen Steamer. Man braucht ein Auto für die Wege in die umliegenden Orte, für uns aber kein Problem. Super nettes und hilfsbereites Personal! Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.”
“The property was amazing! Highly recommend the suites with private pools. Everything was very clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our day and the food and drinks at the restaurant were also very good. We also enjoyed easy access to the beach.
We also appreciated that the hotel helped us arrange transport from the airport. It was a bit of a drive but the property was worth it. We loved staying at The River!”

“I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed here with my husband and we loved our experience. The hotel is situated in a cute town that has amazing options for food and beaches. The hotel itself is well kept, very clean, and has beautiful views. It is located in walking distance to the main centre of the town.

“Hotel area and rooms were nice. You could see that it has been a top top hotel but now some stuff has crusted a bit. Staff in the reception was really kind, in some other areas not so helpful. Food in the breakfast and some restaurants wasn't in the level of luxury hotel, actually some restaurants it was catastrophic.”
“The suite we stayed in was fantastic. It had two bedrooms and a kitchen and sitting area. It also had two roomy sections of outdoor patio. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a nice little bar at the swimming pool.the only thing it could do better was the pool could use some repairs and a good cleaning.”
