“Just doe a night it was ok. There are lots of little things that just need a little attention to smarten up the hotel and make the experience a better for guests. Staff are helpful but seem a little complacent that’s how things are. Eg. Hotel rubbish outside in the walkway between the two car parks where staff also have a ‘smoking table’ with lots of ash, rubbish on the flat roof outside our window, mould on our window frame, sheet was too small for our bed frame and didn’t tuck in, fire door……

“The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay.”

“Stayed for one night, which happened to be the hottest night of the year. Not the hotels fault, but the window in the room would not open. Hotel did supply fans but made little difference. Major issue was after a night in a 30 degree room there was no water for a shower, or the toilet. Spoke to manager who was stressed but apologetic who said the mains were off due to an issue which he hoped would be fixed at some point…. We left quickly to find somewhere to shower and was asked at reception if……

“The rooms need at least an option of having more light. I get the theme for the hotel, but still - the lack of light in the room was deeply inconvenient. The most disappointing part was the pool area. When I visited in 2022, the pool setup was absolutely amazing for summer - cocktails in a very elegantly done Moroccan themed poolside. “This was one of the prettiest places we've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and personalised, wonderfully renovated pub and hotel rooms. Staff were really friendly and great pub to enjoy a drink or eat in. Comfortable, quiet and extremely relaxing with added bonus of bath and sash windows which opened to look out at the front of the property. PERFECT!!”
