"Fantastic property in a wonderful location. Clean rooms, plenty of amenities, and a great host. Can’t ask for more, we’re looking forward to trying to stay again next year."

"Wonderful vibes near Shenandoah National Park (~20 minute drive).
The hot tub fits well for 3-4 people, and the water feels amazing. Our favorite part!
There is a campfire with logs near it; can be difficult to start a fire if not experienced ... should come prepared with fire starters.
Bedrooms are comfortable, and there are Roku TVs with Disney+ and Netflix as well as board games for the family or friends to spend time together indoors."

The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean.
The sheets and towels were all very clean and fresh.
The room had a microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge and hair dryer.
The hotel is older but it is well maintained. Everything worked fine.
For the price and location I would stay here again.
I did not notice any loud noises from the roadway and was able to sleep well.

Bare bones, but perfectly adequate hotel if you just want a bed, a hot shower and a little TV (didn’t check the WIFI, but Verizon worked fine in the room anyway). Easy parking, friendly front desk person. I’d stay again. (Fridge and microwave were also handy).

We spend a night to relax and enjoy a piece of de Shenandoah valley. The Inn is a beautiful historic place with a lot of details where you can spend a few hours just wondering the rooms. The indoor well in the Tavern is a fun feature. The owners and staff are very nice and most helpful to make this a very pleasant stay. We will certainly come back.

We've stayed a this Wingate Hotel quite a few times, and each time we have had an excellent experience. The decorations thru out special Holidays are over the top as well. Rooms just renovated as well.

Great hotel. Pretty much a full kitchen except for a stove. Great staff. Great breakfast. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I got way more for my money from a hotel.
